The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government sponsored public service program conducted by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India.

Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji’s Centenary year, 1969 and aimed at developing student’s personality through community service. In our college NSS is service since a very long time.

After completing village camp/district camp/state/ national/ mega camp and 240 hrs of service NSS candidate get the “B” or “C” Certificate, which add in their Bio-data. It give bonus points to the candidate.

Our candidates also participated in parade at Delhi on the occasion of Republic day many times. Our NSS volunteers also participated in different mega camps and Adventure camps.
